Galfan Hot Dipped Galvanized Stone Cage Gabion Mattress Gabion Basket Retaining Wall is a woven box made from low carbon steel wire with high corrosion resistance, strength, and extensibility. Also known as "Stone cage net" or "Stone cage basket," these structures are filled with stones on-site to create flexible, permeable, and integrated structures that adapt to various soil conditions and foundation deformations without compromising structural integrity.

Galvanized steel wire: High-quality low-carbon steel wire (2.0mm-4.0mm diameter) with tensile strength ≥380Mpa. Surface protection through hot-dip galvanization (up to 300g/m² coating).
Zinc-5% aluminum-mixed alloy steel wire (Galfan): Superior corrosion resistance (3× traditional galvanization) with 2.0mm-4.0mm diameter and ≥380Mpa tensile strength.
PVC/PE coated galvanized steel wire: Additional protection for high-pollution environments with color options to blend with surroundings.
PVC/PE coated Galfan wire: Combines Galfan's corrosion resistance with PVC/PE coating for maximum durability in harsh conditions.

Packaging Details
Gabion Box Wire Mesh is bundled for efficient shipping. Panels are woven, folded, and secured with binding straps to maximize container space. On-site assembly involves unfolding, binding wire connection, and stone filling to create complete, durable structures ideal for flood control and dam reinforcement.
Applications
Gabions are filled with 100-250mm rocks (5% size variation allowed). Oversize rocks ≤300mm; undersize ≥100mm. Rocks must be hard, angular-to-round, durable, and weather-resistant. Careful placement preserves polymer coatings, with visible faces hand-placed for aesthetic appeal.
